News: Why can magnets attract some metals
As we all know, there are two kinds of magnets, natural and artificial, both of which have strong magnetism. But it has spontaneous magnetization, so what should we pay attention to in use and storage?
Always be very careful when handling and storing powerful magnets, because the magnets will stick together by themselves, which may pinch your fingers. When the magnets can't be separated by mutual attraction, it is recommended to push them horizontally and stagger them, and never pry them hard. For example, hold the whole magnet with your left hand, and use your right hand with your index finger and thumb to horizontally remove the magnet. After removal, don't throw the removed magnet back into the magnet pile immediately. Please isolate the magnet immediately. If you need to put the magnet back into the whole magnet, please put it back slowly and move it in from the edge at close range. Be sure to hold the magnet with your hand until it has been moved in.
Magnets should be stored in a dry and constant temperature environment as far as possible. There are some tips:
1.Keep magnets away from easily magnetized objects, such as floppy disks, credit cards, computer monitors, watches, mobile phones, medical devices, etc.
2.Magnet is fragile, so it may break or fall off when it is used in vibration, impact and other occasions. Be sure to pay attention to the collision.
3.The magnetism of the magnet will decay after being heated at high temperature. Be careful not to exceed the standard working temperature when using the magnet.
4.During the use of the magnet, the environment should be kept as clean as possible, so as to avoid small impurities such as iron filings from being adsorbed on the magnet surface and affecting the use.
5.Magnets should be placed out of the reach of children. Don't swallow a magnet. If swallowed carelessly, medical treatment should be given immediately.
6.Magnetic debris flying into eyes can cause harm, so it needs to be used carefully.
7. Neodymium magnet should be stored in a ventilated and dry environment. Acidic, alkaline, organic solvents, salt water and high-temperature and humid environment will easily oxidize the magnet, the plating layer will fall off, and the magnet will be crushed and demagnetized.
